Charise Patterson
General Counsel
Charise Patterson serves as Sprout's General Counsel, leading the legal and compliance function across every part of the business. She brings a strong M&A and corporate law background from Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Moore & Van Allen, and joined Sprout from CAPTRUST where she served as Corporate Counsel. She believes compliance and lifecycle discipline are becoming real competitive differentiators, and has built Sprout's legal function to be woven into how the business operates and grows rather than bolted on afterward. Outside of work, she loves to travel and is committed to mentoring law students and newer lawyers, guided by a simple belief: lift as you climb. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Spelman College and a J.D. with a Business Law Certificate from USC Gould School of Law.
