Sprout Welcomes Charise Patterson as General Counsel

Charise joins Sprout from CAPTRUST, where she led the firm's M&A legal function, advising on complex acquisitions, integration strategy, and enterprise risk management. During her tenure, she supported transactions that added more than $8.5 billion in client assets, partnering closely with executive leadership to balance speed, rigor, and long-term value creation. Prior to CAPTRUST, Charise practiced corporate law at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and Moore & Van Allen PLLC, advising private equity sponsors and growth-oriented companies on domestic and cross-border transactions, governance, and commercial matters.

At Sprout, Charise will serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team, overseeing legal strategy, corporate governance, commercial transactions, and risk management. In this role, she will help design and scale the frameworks that enable faster decision-making, support disciplined growth, and align execution with Sprout's long-term value creation plan.
